65-year-old cyclist dies after hit by car street racing in Saskatoon

SASKATOON - A 65-year-old cyclist has died after being hit by a car that appears to have been in a race on a Saskatoon street.

Police say one of two westbound vehicles hit the man just before 3 a.m. Wednesday. The drivers both fled the scene.

The man, who was not identified, was pronounced dead at hospital.

Police collision analysts were gathering evidence.
