Not to belabor the point unduly, but the 2012 MCA race season started Feb 18th, with 27 racers taking part in Actif Epica marathon race (thanks to the MCA mountain bike committee for supporting this unique race). Race field included 5 international riders (4, from Minnesota and 1 from Delaware, USA) and 1 mountain bike tandem entry. Race results are here: http://actifepi.ca/final-standings-2012/.
The 2012 season looks to be exciting - events in 11 months!
You are absolutely right and what a race it was!!! This was an extremely well organized and run event which made an epic and extreme sport (i.e., snow bike racing) accessible to everyone. I really regret not being able to participate and look forward to next year when we actually have winter.
