Hard Men And Women

The classic cycle races are the most prestigious one-day cycling road races on the international calendar.

Until now most of the events, have been run in Western Europe.

Until now, they have been fixtures on the professional calendar for decades and the oldest ones date back to the 19th Century.

Until now, the five most revered races or 'Monuments' have included Milan–San Remo (Italy), Tour of Flanders (Belgium), Paris–Roubaix (France) Liège–Bastogne–Liège (Belgium),  and Giro di Lombardia (Italy)

Until now, these five races are generally considered to be the oldest and most-prestigious, and most arduous one-day races.

Now there is  a sixth.

Now there is the Bruxelles Spring Classic Road Race. A fixture? A Classic? A Monument? A race for hard men and women? Surely it will be all of the regular fair , but the Bruxelles Spring Classic Road Race is so much more.

As a spring race the Bruxelles Spring Classic Road Race potential for treacherous conditions; flooded snow covered, ice jams and battered gravel roads.

As Spring Classic the Bruxelles Spring Classic Road Race it will be raced with a savage intensity and every last rider that finishes will be completely shattered.

As a race for hard men and women
there will be on siting-in,
no waiting for it to come down to a bunch kick,
no wheel sucking each other dry.

Prepare to suffer.
