Wow we have a dead heat, with Belgian Cross, Altona and Provincial Cross each having 5 votes for best Cross race of 2009. Reach The Beach is gaining ground on last years winner... the awesome, the amazing, the stupendous Back 40. Likewise, MUERTO is feeling threatened by the most amazing cross race series… every!

Bottom Line : Why you should vote

You live in a democracy (No really you do!) and that means that you get a say how you feel about the races you attend, and by way of this privilege (yes it is a privilege!) you also get a have input into how the cycle seen is run. We all tend to be nonchalant about our right to vote, and take a "whatever, who cares, nothing I say or do makes a difference anyway" kind of attitude about what happens here in Manitoba. However, I believe you shouldn't be so quick to overlook this opportunity to let your voice be heard. Sure clicking on a mouse can be a bit of a chore, and yes, you have to spend 4 or 5 of your precious seconds voting, but you will not have to use any gas, and a few seconds is a very small price to pay for the right to vote. In some countries people are literally dying to be able to cast a ballot and make a difference.
