The Principle Arguments That May be Marshaled Against Bicycles

1. Bicycles are childish
I can recapture the unadulterated joy of being free as a child when riding a bike

2. Bicycles are undignified
When I ride I find esteem or respect for myself that is independent of the judgments of others

3. Bicycles are unsafe.
Loving every minute of it!

4. Bicycles are un-American.
Thank God!

5. I don't like the kind of people who ride bicycles.
And they probably do not like you much either but there is room for everyone.

6. Bicycles are unfair.
I would never keep something that is that much fun for myself.

7. Bicycles are good exercise.
