Do something about it!

Sandilands Provincial Forest has been home to skiers, hikers and cyclists for decades. We have shared this fabulous resource with horses, loggers, snowmobiles, motorcycles, and now ATV's. Unfortunately, all human activity has an impact on the natural environment. Uncontrolled access by hundreds of ATV's at a time, the recent forest fire and clear-cut logging have devastated the Sandilands Provincial Forest. We would like to encourage all supporters of low impact use of the forest to write a letter to our Premier and the Minister of Conservation asking them to pass legislation that would restrict motorized activity so that the Sandilands Provincial Forest will be there for all to enjoy for future generations.

  1. the problem is Man Con uses ATV, snowmobiles and such for work in the park. they would have to change to status of the park or restrict entry which would be hard for the parkies..but good idea. just will take a long time if they want anything to happen..that is the thing with Man Con/government
