The site of the Cycling Competition at the 1999 Pan American Games in Winnipeg, Canada, The last mountain bike race for the year was A Must-Ride Fall Classic! 
The Junk Yard Dogs have been building, cutting and clearing new trail all summer, but really out did themselves this time. 3 laps of 34km of punishment were dished on a creative combination of the old standards trails, gnarly new cuts, and reopened trails that had been long forgotten by all expect the occasional squirrel.
Rumour has it that 2TiredBoys are planning an 8, 12 or possibly 24-hours of Birch!
Bottom Line:
Great weather, physically challenging loop, tough competition, good food, sweet SWAG, and all on the best course in Manitoba. This race is definitely on the radar for 2008!
